Wicked

We went to wicked at the Detroit Opera House.  It was pretty cool!! The architecture at the opera house was cool too. We liked it. Now we are at a resteraunt. Here is a pic of me and my brother. Happy New Year!!

Wicked

We are going to see Wicked on New Years Eve. It is a musical play at the Detroit Opera House. My parents had already seen it twice. We watched The Wizard of Oz last night again because it is the story of the witches before what happens in the movie. 

Wedding

I went to a wedding last night in Canada. They were close friends of the family. All of my cousins were there. We were all dressed up and shirts and ties and suits. There was a nice dinner and a lot of dancing.  There was a game of the last couple standing. All the married couples start up and when they announced how many years went by you were married they would make them sit down.  My grandparents have been married for 52 years so they were the last couple standing. They played a song and had a special dance just for them.  

Cranbook

We went to Cranbrook yesterday. I thought of Mr. Joe because their was an activity about the Fertile Crescent are in Mesopatamia. We made a box with a lion body with wings and a human head. They said this would guard the entrance of kingdoms. I thought about Mrs. Roberts when I was in the Physics area with gravity. 

iPhone 6

My grandparents bought me an iPhone 6 for Xmas. All of my cousins went to their house yesterday to celebrate my grandpas birthday and Christmas.  We all played together and had a blast. All of my cousins got cool gifts for my grandfather as well and my brother.  We had a big feast and cold stone chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake.

New Hess

My aunt Kim gave me my Christmas gift early. It is the 50th anniversary trucks. It came with two trucks. It is a large semi gas truck.  A small truck is inside the big truck.  Some people collect Hess trucks.  I collect them to I have many of them now.  They light up and our battery powered.  I like that my aunt Kim got me so now I need for my collection.

Xmas birthdays

Christmas eve is my grandpa's birthday we are going to go to his house on Christmas Eve.  All of my cousins will be there we will have a big dinner and give my grandpa his gift but he also gives us gifts too.  My grandpa kind of spoils us.  And Christmas day it is my other grandpa's birthday so we will be going to his house that day.  We also give him his birthday gift and get gifts as well.  I have a lack of fine on Christmas eve and Christmas day with my family.

Hobbit

My mom told me that we are going to go to the IMAX theater at the Henry Ford to see the hobbit.  We are going to go with other friends.  We went last year during the holiday break too. It is cool to see it at the IMAX.  We are not going to go until next week though.

Consumer Reports rated the Tesla model S as the best car in the future. It earned the highest score of 99 of any car they tested and it aced the owner satisfaction survey.  They said it has innovative luxury blended with a comfortable ride with leading edge technology and design. It has blistering acceleration, razor-sharp handling and a 225 mile 

Iphone 7 rumors

The rumors for the iPhone 7 is that it will have cordless charging, 3D screen and shatterproof saphire glass. It's supposed to be released in the Spring. Apple keeps improving the phones so people can keep upgrading to make money. If they make it with everything they can people wouldn't buy new phones. I don't know if the 7 will have all the features they say because the rumors are not always true. 

Holiday nights continued

At holiday nights there were also old fashioned vehicles that had Christmas decorations. It was a nice night because it wasn't too cold. We walked a lot. There was a fire work show at the end. It was cool!

Holiday nights and edible arrangements

Yesterday I wrote that I was going to go to edible arrangements. Well I did go and it was a lot of fun we each got to make our own basket of fruit I picked a football basket.  After we were done we went to Greenfield Village to go to holiday nights.  We walked around the village.  We went into all the little old-fashioned homes and saw the old fashion people and Christmas carollers. My favorite was the Red Cross house during World War II.  There were soldiers in front. And when you went in there were two women knitting and telling us stories of how it was like during that time.

Today I am going with a bunch of my friends to make an Edible Arrangement basket. My friend William's mom owns a couple Edible Arrangements stores and we are going to go up there as a group. We each can make our own basket with fruit. We can dip them in chocolate too. This is a picture of one. 

Stampylongnose

I watch Stampylongnose videos on YouTube.  Stampy builds games in his lovely world and also does hunger games.  If you send stamp be something with his name or something about him he sometimes does shout outs to those people. He also lets you into his love garden.  You watch him build things and get ideas from him.

Fun fact about my dad

My dad is on an advanced bowling league. He bowls every Wednesday night. His team is tied for first place so far. My dad bowls with his best friend. They have been best friends and bowled together since they were ten. My dad bowled a 300 perfect game before. My uncle Bob who he bowls with got a 300 five times!

Hess truck

My uncle Rick and aunt Kim get me a new Hess truck or car every year for Christmas.  My uncle Rick works at a print shop that prints the Hess logo on the cars and trucks. It is really cool when I get these cars and trucks to collect.  This year might be the last year he's going to print for Hess. I will miss seeing the new cars and trucks if he does that printing for them. This is one of them.

Disney Cruise

Last year we went on the Disney Cruise with my family, aunts, uncles, cousins and most importantly my grandparents. My grandparents took us all to celebrate their 50th anniversary. We had a blast!  We went to the Bahamas. The beach was nice. White sand beach and blue water. Their was a big slide on the boat. Their were pools and game rooms. They had a theater room with live plays and played movies. 

Iphone 6 and 6 plus

The iPhone 6 and the 6 plus are finally are here. The iPhone 6 has a smaller screen than the 6 plus. The iPhone 6 plus has a better chance of the screen not getting cracked. The iPhone 6 can actually bend.  A lot of people like the iPhone 6 plus because it is bigger and they can see the screen better.  Some people don't like it because they feel that it is too big to hold while on the phone so they would rather have this iPhone 6. These phones are both highly recommended.

Wonder

In a Wonder by RJ Palacios, Auggie changes on how he thinks of himself. In the beginning he says "I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse." In the book he changes because he started real school and made friends. He likes Star Wars and finds a friend who likes it too. He didn't want to go to real school only be home schooled. He likes going to school. He finds out that people can like him for how he acts. He was shy and thought people would be afraid of him. He feels better about himself now. He forgets about his face when smiling at the camera.

Hugo

I watched a movie called Hugo tonight. It was about a orphan boy who wanted to finish a dream of his dad's. His dad wanted to finish building a robot that he got. It belonged to an old film maker and Hugo led a journey to finish the project and get it back to the film maker. The movie was from a book. 

I like that a lot.

Tree in the house

We put up our Christmas tree last week. We have a ton of ornaments. We get a couple new ornaments every year. We each get one that is related to something we are interested in. We also get one wherever we go on vacation. We always have our train around it. I love having a tree in our house. 

Sleep over

My friend Jacob is here from Chicago and is spending the night. We have been friends since kindergarten.  We went to Aruba together, trips to Cicago and many family fun days and trips. We played Minecraft, ping pong and air hockey tonight. We are camping in in a tent tonight.

Mrs.Roberts party

Mrs. Roberts party was nice. She was an amazing teacher!

The first day of school I met you in math class we had journeys and adventures. We also can have so much fun with you ,here are some memories:

1. I like how Mrs. Roberts always tries to make learning fun by showing us funny videos. It is always challenging for her to find a funny video but she always does. 

2. Going to the Rouge River for water testing. 

3. Water heroes Mrs. Roberts helped us learn how important it is to conserve water and protect it to help our world.

4. Mrs. Roberts, I will miss you as my teacher. I am glad that you will still be a part of the BCS.

Auto show and the Tesla model X

The Tesla model X looks like a car of the future. The doors open by pulling them up. It is a fast and expensive car. I don't know anyone who owns one but I wish I did. I love going to the auto show to see all the different cars there. I can't wait to go this year.  I hope they have the Tesla model X there so I can see it.  Maybe even go in it. I wrote about the car condo place that's coming soon yesterday, maybe I will see one there when it opens.  When I go to the auto show I love looking at all of the sports cars and the cars of the future.

Car condos

Like Cars? I read an article today about a new place that is going to get built. It is going to be in Pontiac Michigan which will be close to home.  They are going to sell condos for cars. It will be classic cars that would you would normally see in the Woodward dream Cruise where that people can store them at this place.  This place is going to be huge. It is also going to have a race track.  It is going to have car themed restaurants and stores.  I can't wait for it to be built and open so I can go check it out.I have a picture here from one of the articles that show what it may look like. It will be a dream come true for all car fans!

Dentist

I went to the dentist tonight. I usually don't like going but it was ok. My brother and I both had appointments. The good new is we both don't have cavities. I just lost another tooth this week and one two months ago. A lot of missing teeth. We started seeing this dentist last year. I like it there. We had the works today X-Rays and fluoride. It wasn't bad but I'm glad I don't have to go back until summer vacation. 

Henry Ford part 2 for AHW

While I was at the Henry Ford yesterday I saw a concep house that never made it. It was out airplane materials where they were going to mass produce these homes.  They had clear glass windows. It had a bathroom that look like a airplane bathroom.  They said that they could make them pretty cheap.  It was a dumb shape so it could be heated with the recirculating heat.  They thought that this concept was going to take off and everyone would want to buy it.  Not enough people wanted to buy it so it never made it.  It was pretty cool touring it though.

Henry Ford

We went to the Henry afford with 2 other familes together. It was fun because I was with my friends William and Trevor. I love seeing all the old cars. There was a lot of other things besides cars there that were a part of history. We only made it through half of the museum. We are going to go back for the Rouge tour and do the other half of the museum soon. Here is a picture of me next to Pres. Kennedy's limo that he was in when he was assassinated.

Response in my comment under my poem and video

The response from my family was that they liked it. They gathered around me and listen to my palm while it was video. It brought my cousins together. It made us all think about what we are grateful for.

Cruise

Myself grandparents won't be here for thanksgiving. They are going on a cruise to the Caribbean islands.  They had a rough start. When they got to the airport my grandpa realize that he had my cousin's passport instead of his own.  My uncle had to rush my grandfathers as point to the airport.  My grandma had to get on the plane and leave without my grandpa and head for the boat not knowing if my grandpa was going to make it.  My grandma doesn't have a cell phone so they couldn't even communicate because my grandpa had the phone.  My grandpa ended up flying in to Atlanta, he had an issue with his luggage then went from Atlanta to Florida.  He ended up getting on the boat in just the nick of time.  I hope they have a good trip. 

Karate

I have a gold belt double striped now. I am going to get tested soon for the next level. I am not sure what color the next belt will be. I will be finding out soon. There are two new kids in the class now. Two other kids that used to be in there have not been coming lately. So it is still the same amount of people. We are all at different levels because we started at different times. My brother and I are at the same level. We are at the highest level in our class. It is called Plowden Karate at Franklin Athletic Club. Our teachers compete in our country and in different countries. They always take medals! 

Henry Ford

My parents bought me a book about Henry Ford at the school book fair.  They know how much I love cars and knew that I would like it. I'm excited to read about him. I love how the model T looks.  It is sleek and shiny. Next week we are going to go with friends to the Henry Ford Museum.  I can't wait to learn about Henry Ford and see all of the cool cars at the museum.  I think it is really cool that Henry Ford left and started out here in Detroit Michigan.  My favorite Ford is the Ford Mustang.  Ford has came along way with all of his unique cars. I can't wait until next weekend!

Saving Mr. Banks

I watched Saving Mr. Banks last week.  It was about Walt Disney making the movie Mary Poppins.  It took Walt Disney 20 years to convince her to be able to make a movie out of her book.  She was a strict British woman that didn't have much fun in her life.  She didn't like the idea of Walt Disney making her book into a cartoon or have silliness to it.  He convinced her to compromise to make the movie.  Mary Poppins had a lot of silliness and animation in it to which she didn't like.  The animation and silliness is what made the movie Mary Poppins so good.  We watched Mary Poppins to this week. I went to see Mary Poppins the musical a few years back.  Both movies saving Mr. Banks and Mary Poppins are both good and my parents like them both too. 

Fun day with Forest and Gram

Today I went to my friends house and Forest and Gram were there. I played in the snow together with them. We also made tracks on the snow. After that big day of play we went inside and had a glass of lemonade / ice tea. I hope they can come back soon to sled on the big hills one day. When I got home I shoveled my parents driveway but still need a plow.

Dad's Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday. I am going to shovel the snow for him today. He will be so happy. We always get a snow removal service but have not got one yet this year. This early snow was kind of unexpected. I am shoveling right now before he gets home from work. I can't believe how much we already got and how much were getting. Wehave a really big circular driveway plus a walkway. My mom keeps calling snowplow companies but they probably are already on the road so they are not answering. It looks like we might have a white Thanksgiving!

Iphone

I want an iPhone. I don't have a phone yet. My mom has an iPhone 4s. My dad doesn't like Apple products so he has a Samsung Galaxy. We bought him a a Samsung Galaxy  tablet for his birthday this week. I still want an iPhone. My mom likes hers because she can sync all our Apple devices together. The iPhone 6 is what I want. The iPhone 6 Plus is bigger but more expensive. It also can bend.  I hope I get one. I really hope I can get one for Christmas. 

Dad's Birthday

It's my dad's birthday on Wednesday. My grandparents came over. We had cake and ice cream. We bought my dad a new Samsung Galaxy 4 10.1 but I think he's going to exchange it for the Samsung galaxy S.  It's bigger and better. We are going to get him a case too. It was nice seeing my grandparents on my dads side. I haven't seen them in a while. I can't wait to play with my dads tablet to compare it to my iPad. 

Toilet to tap

Yesterday I read an article called Toilet to Tap. It was about Orange County in California cleaning and reusing sewage water. It would go through a three step cleaning process to make it drinkable. It would be tested and regulated. It would help solve our water shortage crisis but I don't know if I could actually drink it knowing where it comes from. It's kind of disgusting.

Fall leaves

The leaves are out of control.  Our house is surrounded by woods so we have leaves everywhere.  It's going to take my dad forever to rake them up.  He actually has a special mower that mulches them and sucks them up but it still takes a long time and you still have to rake a lot as well.  I'm having a busy day so I'm not able to help my dad today like I usually do every year.  I usually like it when we do rake because we will make big piles of leaves and my brother and I used to jump in them. My dad is in a rush to get them done today because were supposed to have snow on the ground tomorrow. It's actually pretty sunny outside so it's hard to believe that tomorrow there might be snow.  The first thing I'm going to you tomorrow when I wake up is look out the window and see if we have this know that they've been talking about.

Snow

Today while I was in math class Mrs. Roberts looked out the window and said "woa"!  Some kids rushed to the window to see what she saw. It was snow.I said winter is coming early.  Some of the snow stuck but not enough to play in it. I am looking  forward to having a lot of snow to play in. I like to go sledding at the Franklin hill. I go with my friends and sometimes we go to the Farmhouse ice cream and coffee shop for hot chocolate after. I am happy that I have my new winter ski coat. It is a Spyder Ski coat. I also have my new boats ready to go!

Thanksgiving

I always like thanksgiving because we go to my Aunts house or my grandparents. This year it's going to be different. My grandparents are going on a cruise to the Caribbean islands. We still are going to my aunt Layla's house and uncle Fred's. All my cousins will be there but it won't be the same without my grandparents.  I usually stay at my grandparents house for the weekend during the Thanksgiving break. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to do it this year. I think I will make some plans with my cousin.

Veteran's Day

Today is Veteran's day. My uncle Fred and my uncle Tim our veterans.  Uncle Tim's served in the Gulf War and uncle Fed served in The Vietnam War.  I feel happy because they helped our country and I am proud of them.  Today is a day where we honor and observe the great heroes that phot and served for our country.  Veterans day is considered a national holiday.  

Snowy night

My mom said it might snow soon. I tried on my old boots but they were too small. I bought a new pair of the same boots as last year but one size bigger. They are Sorels. I can't wait to wear them. I want it to snow. I like playing in it and making snow men. I also want to go skiing this year. I have never skiied before. I want to go to Boyne or Crystal Mountain to learn. They also have a hotel with an indoor water park at both of them. I'm looking forward to it!

Model Car

I went to Meijer with my dad today. We returned bottles. With the money I bought a Ford Mustang GT Convertible model car kit. I put it together when I got home. Here is a picture. It like this car because it is chrome on black. Ford makes their Mustangs special. They are designed well. I like converibles because they look cool and it feels good to drive in them with the top down if the weather is good. It's not fun if the top is down and it starts raining on you!

Lunch

It was nice having lunch with my grandpa Friday. It was the first time he saw my new school. He brought us Subway. After we ate, I showed him the play ground, the media center and the band room. My dad couldn't make it this time but it was ok because of my grandpa. My grandpa and I are close. He does a lot for me. 

Fun day

I first went to Sylvan than came home. Then I went to Saxophone practice and here I am resting. Well something extremely exciting happened I got a stripe on the second level gold belt yesterday. I feel so happy for that! 

Tesla Model S-Great Car

This is the Tesla Model S. It is an electric car. This is completely electric not a hybrid! The door handles slide in and out. This car is  worth about 100,000. I would want it in blue. It looks cool and it doesn't need gas!! I love it!

Pre stripe

I went to karate tonight. We were pre striped. On Friday we will be tested for the next stripe. I can't wait because after we are going to play basketball up at Franklin Athletic Club with our friends after karate on Friday. 

Election

I went with my parents to vote today. They vote at the Franklin Church. There was no wait. They said that they hope more people would vote today because it is very important. We went out to dinner after.  We went to Mex. I liked it!  It is Mexican food. The resterant was decorated cool. There was a hot air balloon looking booth. We didn't sit it in though. Mex is awesome!

Mon night

I have karate tonight. We are learning more forms. I like going with my neighbors. I haven't gone since last Monday because we didn't go on Friday because of Halloween.  When we get home I want to either watch a movie or play a board game since we don't have school tomorrow.  My Aunt Kim is coming tonight and having dinner with us. She is going to stay over night because she babysits for a baby by our house and has to be there early in the morning. The baby's name is Grace. She is cute and funny. She is only about one. I like it when my Aunt comes because she always does things with us and gets us cool things. 

Passing away

My mom and dad both felt bad today. My dad's friend, Jim lost his father. My dad went to the funeral to be there for his friend. My mom's friend Leslie's dad also passed away. My mom knew him since she was very young. My mom was so sad. I am friends with Leslie's kids Taylor and Mason. I feel bad that they lost their grandpa. May they RIP. 

Movie

We were going to go to the movies today at Amc and it was closed! There was a water line break. I'm sure the people around there won't have waster either. So now we are going to watch one at home. It's not as fun as going to the theater but it's still ok. My brother wants to watch Tad about an archeologist in Peru. It is animated. I hope it's not boring. 

Halloween

Happy Halloween! I had a fun night. It was cold though. We had friends over for pizza then went out trick or treating for a little bit. They came back over so it was fun. My brother was a knight and I was Harry Potter. I lost my scarf but it was too cold and dark to go back to look for it. 

2 pumpkins

Now we have both pumpkins carved. A spooky face and a pirate ship! I can't wait until tomorrow. Halloween!  The pumpkins look cool. 

Blogger and Twitter

I am pretty new to blogger and Twitter. I like blogging and tweeting more than writing. I also like to be able to see other people's blogs and tweets. I sometimes have trouble with my posts. I have been putting pictures with my posts but it looks like I am putting them on but when you go back to it it is not there. It only shows an empty box. Any ideas?

Pumpkin

We carved our pumpkin. It has a scary face. We used a template and carved with small carving tools. It's a big pumpkin so it was harder to carve. We still have another pumpkin to carve but didn't have a chance to do it yet. I like how it looks with a candle in it at night. We have a lot of deer and other animals on our street. I hope they don't destroy it like they have before. My brother and I carve our pumpkins every year with my dad. My mom always takes a picture. Here is a picture. 

Karate

I went to Karate tonight. I go to Franklin Athletic Club for my class. It is called Plowden Karate. I have a gold belt with a black stripe now. This is a higher level than the gold belt. I go with my brother and my neighbors. I like it. 

My weekend

Last night I watched the Croods. It was about cavemen. It was a silly movie but funny. I liked it. It was fun watching it with my brother and Corrina while my parents were out. Today I'm going to run errands with my mom and play outside with my brother. My dad is putting up Gutter guards with my uncle Bob.  He is high on a ladder. I hope they don't fall. We are going to carve our pumpkins today. I have to decide on a good design. I am also going to read some more of The klipfish code. It is a good serious book that is historical. Kris M.

Saturday

I went to my cousins party today. I had so much fun. Now, movie night: THe Croods with a babysitter. I hope it's a good movie. 

Walk

I walked for Fitz on Wednesday.  There was a lot of people. I'm happy so many people wanted to support her. I really like doing this kind of thing

Covington

Covington is the best school in the world because of the teachers and because of enge- technology. 

Fun weekend

I had fun this weekend. On Saturday I went to Long's Cider Mill. We went through a corn maze, hay ride, did a dirt mount stunt, apple shooting targets and had cider with doughnuts. I hit the target every time with the apple shooting launcher. We went with my friends William and Trevor and our families.  On Sunday, I got my Halloween costume and then my cousins Reyna and Jeyda came over and we celebrated Reyna's birthday and we played. 

Boating and fishing trip # 2 small moment published piece

      I first asked my mom to go on a fishing trip this summer. She said that would be fun and maybe we can go on grandpa's boat too. We planned to go to Metro Beach and fish. We met my grandparents, my cousins and my aunts and uncles that weekend. We fished off of the pier but didn't catch anything.

     Then we went on a boat ride. It was fun. I even got to drive the boat with my uncle helping.  I'm glad we had our life vests on because we were pulled over by the police and they checked. I was even scared a little. The police patrol the lake to make sure everyone is safe. 

      I will tell what else happened next.  My cousin punched it!  She is only 7 years old. It was ok because my uncle was sitting with her and took control of the boat. We all laughed so hard. My mom was scared and told my uncle to help control the boat better. My uncle always lets us all have a few turns driving it. 

      We went back to the picnicking area and ate KFC and spinach pies, potato salad and cookies.  Sometimes we have a big picnic there with a lot of food and we stay there all day. We ended it by playing catch. It was a fun day! 

     We go to Metro every year. This is one of the many reasons I love summer. I like doing summer things and being with my cousins. I have my own fishing rod and box that I use. This is something my grandpa and I both enjoy. My dad's not much of a fisherman so I'm glad that my uncle's and my grandpa are. 

     My grandpa used to have a red star Craft it was from the 50's. It was wood and looked like a 57 Chevrolet because it had fins. He bought it in 1970.  Then he sold it and bought a blue 15 ft boat in 1978. Believe it or not, he still has this boat. He keeps it in my uncle's garage. The boat is now 44 years old and we still use it. He had to do a lot of maintenance on it through the years and had the seats redone. 

     My mom, aunt and uncle used to go on it a lot when they were young so she thinks it's pretty cool when their kids go on it and have just as much fun as they did. My mom always liked to sit in the open area and liked it when it went fast. That's how I like it too!  Being with family is fun!

     

Lunar eclipse

I went outside to look at the moon yesterday at 6:30 am.  Did you?  The sky was beautiful filled with stars.  I went out there to look at the lunar eclipse.  It was so cool!  It was orange in color and was called a "blood moon" because it was orange.
