Fine arts night

My grandparents are over today. We are going to my brother's fine arts night at West Maple. We get to see his art and they are doing a concert performance. This is for the whole 3rd grade. It is at my old school. I hope I see some of my old friends that have younger brother and sisters. 

Windy

It has been very windy lately. Now that it is spring the wind really picked up. You can hear the wind blowing loudly outside while I'm in my house. It is kind of scary because it is tornado season. We had a tornado drill at school today. I have seen movies about tornadoes and I don't like them. I am looking forward to spring weather that is just warm without wind.

I am proud

I am proud of working on my digital easy. First, I had to write an essay about the book. Next, I had to read and see what and where I wanted to put images in. Then, I had to research and look for pictures that I could put in to the essay. I also added sound by reading my essay.  I think it came out very good. Having the pictures added then gives you a visual of the thoughts and the story.

Karate belt

Tomorrow I'm going to get tested to get my next Karate belt. I am a double striped God now. I think the next belt is purple. I like my class and the instructors. They are world champions. This is what the belt will look like. 

Hobnob

Tomorrow is Mrs. Roberts party. We are putting together some things that she likes. She likes Hobnob cookies. They are from Britain where she grew up.  I bought some for her and My mom bought some for me so I could try it. I now know why Mrs. Roberts like them. They taste very good. They are made from oats and wheat and have a chocolate layer on top.

School Driving 3D

I play a game on my iPhone called school driving 3-D.  You have to drive around and follow the rules.  I just got a new car.  They are not certain makes and models but it is now a blue one.  I was playing with a black car before. I play with the blue one now because it has more high and technology and it looks better.  It actually has a little screen and it.  You don't race you  just kind of just drive around.

Lighthouse

We went to lighthouse today for a tour with my Sciracy group. It was a cool tour!  They had a nice set up there to help people. Our group wants to come up with ways to be able to help this great organization. Sometimes when people are in trouble they just need a little help to get back on their feet again and do things for themselves. I like doing volunteer work that will help people in need. 

Science experiment

Science experiments are fine. We got a pop bottle science experiment. It is a pop bottle filled with different science experiments.  We are going to do one of them tonight. Science experiments are usually cool and fine. I like watching the science channel because I'm gonna channel they do a lot of cool experiments.  Here is a picture of the kids that is pop bottle science.

Spring

I'm so glad that it is Spring. I love how the weather is warming up. I like to be outside and ride my bike shoot hoops and see the grass.  I also like spring because I know summer and summer vacation are coming up. I love how you don't have to get hat, gloves, coat and boots just to go outside.

Didn't feel good again

I didn't feel good again today. It really stinks when you don't feel well.  I really hope I feel better tomorrow.  I didn't get to go to school today but I hope I am there tomorrow. 

Not feeling well

It really stinks when you don't feel well. I don't feel that great today. I hope it doesn't last long. My mom is making me ginger tea and I'm resting. 

Mrs.Roberts

Mrs.Roberts

The first day of school I met you in math class we had journeys and adventures. We also can have so much fun with you ,here are some memories:

1. I like how Mrs. Roberts always tries to make learning fun by showing us funny videos. It is always challenging for her to find a funny video but she always does. 

2. Going to the Rouge River for water testing. 

3. Water heroes Mrs. Roberts helped us learn how important it is to conserve water and protect it to help our world.

4. Mrs. Roberts, I will miss you as my teacher. I am glad that you will still be a part of the BCS.

Helping dad

I'm going to my uncle Bob's house to help him with my dad. We are going to put up some walls so he needs help holding and nailing them. My uncle Bob always comes here to help us with things around the house so now we are going to help him. It takes tools and manpower to get the job done.

Model car

I'm building my model car withmy dad. It takes a lot of time and patience. You have to paint and let each small part dry before you assemble and glue it it will be worth the time I the end. 

Pool caving in

We have a pool. The winter cover is on it now. It has been covered with snow for a long time. It was piled up very high. The snow is finally starting to melt and the cover looks like it is caving in. I can't wait til it gets opened up and we can use it a couple months from now. 

Good Mythical Morning

I like watching good mythical morning because I think it is fun and it is really funny!  When they showed today about being able to roll your tongue I thought it was funny because I know everyone cannot do it because it is genetic. I can roll my tongue and my brother cannot.  When I went to the Ripley's believe it or not museum in Florida there was an exhibit about this there too.  

Mustang

I am building a Model car with my dad.  It is a 1966 Ford Mustang 350H.  The color of it gold and black. My other model car is also gold and black.  I do enjoy building theses models because it is fun.   Here are some pictures.

Ford F150

My favorite part of going to the Rouge tour was seeing them actually make the F150. The factory is big and has many workers. It's cool that you can watch them working and assembling it. You walk through and look down at them. The grill and flat bed has been changed and is now longer. They do not allow photography in the factory so I could not take any pictures there. Here is an image that I found of the F150 interior. 

Henry Ford Rouge Factory

I just got back from the Rouge a Factory Tour. It was pretty cool!  They improved the tour by adding a movie made by Disney Pixar with effects and surround screens. The movie showed facts how Henry Ford started the empire and how it got to be the way it is today. We got to go and watch the workers build the F150. You walk the whole factory and watch the workers assemble the F150. The F150 is now all aluminum instead of steel. The roof of the factory is uses green technology. They plant plants on the roof to keep it warm and cool. They have solar energy for lighting. They are always improving their buildings to help the environment. This month members can get 2 free tickets to the tour. I recommend it. It is interesting and fun, especially if you love cars like me. 

Fine Arts Night

My brother was supposed to have a fine arts night tonight. There was going to be a concert. We also were going to walk around and see all of the art that the students did at West Maple.  We were really looking forward to going tonight to watch my brother. He is at West Maple in the third grade.  Because of the bad roads they canceled the fine arts night and rescheduled it. We are disappointed.

Michigan HockeyGame

I went to my first Michigan hockey game. My friend invited my dad and I to the game.  Michigan won the game 6 to 3. They played against Wisconsin Badgers. The arena was pretty cool. The U of M Band was there and performed. The game was exciting. We went out to dinner after the game.  It was a fun night with my friend and our dads! Here is a picture of the arena.
