Response in my comment under my poem and video

The response from my family was that they liked it. They gathered around me and listen to my palm while it was video. It brought my cousins together. It made us all think about what we are grateful for.

Thanksgiving Poem Read at Aunt's House (updated version)

I am thankful for...life because it is a privilege 

I am thankful for...family because they are loving

I am thankful for...education because everyone doesn't have the opportunity 

I am thankful for..my home because it is beautiful, big and loving

I am thankful for...vacations because it is fun and I can see different places

I am thankful for...school because it helps me learn

I am thankful for...My parents and my brother they are the best

I am thankful for...whole family grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends 

I am thankful for...Mr. Joe because he helps me learn

I am most thankful for...my life because it gives me everything I want and more. I feel very grateful.

Cruise

Myself grandparents won't be here for thanksgiving. They are going on a cruise to the Caribbean islands.  They had a rough start. When they got to the airport my grandpa realize that he had my cousin's passport instead of his own.  My uncle had to rush my grandfathers as point to the airport.  My grandma had to get on the plane and leave without my grandpa and head for the boat not knowing if my grandpa was going to make it.  My grandma doesn't have a cell phone so they couldn't even communicate because my grandpa had the phone.  My grandpa ended up flying in to Atlanta, he had an issue with his luggage then went from Atlanta to Florida.  He ended up getting on the boat in just the nick of time.  I hope they have a good trip. 

Karate

I have a gold belt double striped now. I am going to get tested soon for the next level. I am not sure what color the next belt will be. I will be finding out soon. There are two new kids in the class now. Two other kids that used to be in there have not been coming lately. So it is still the same amount of people. We are all at different levels because we started at different times. My brother and I are at the same level. We are at the highest level in our class. It is called Plowden Karate at Franklin Athletic Club. Our teachers compete in our country and in different countries. They always take medals! 

Henry Ford

My parents bought me a book about Henry Ford at the school book fair.  They know how much I love cars and knew that I would like it. I'm excited to read about him. I love how the model T looks.  It is sleek and shiny. Next week we are going to go with friends to the Henry Ford Museum.  I can't wait to learn about Henry Ford and see all of the cool cars at the museum.  I think it is really cool that Henry Ford left and started out here in Detroit Michigan.  My favorite Ford is the Ford Mustang.  Ford has came along way with all of his unique cars. I can't wait until next weekend!

Saving Mr. Banks

I watched Saving Mr. Banks last week.  It was about Walt Disney making the movie Mary Poppins.  It took Walt Disney 20 years to convince her to be able to make a movie out of her book.  She was a strict British woman that didn't have much fun in her life.  She didn't like the idea of Walt Disney making her book into a cartoon or have silliness to it.  He convinced her to compromise to make the movie.  Mary Poppins had a lot of silliness and animation in it to which she didn't like.  The animation and silliness is what made the movie Mary Poppins so good.  We watched Mary Poppins to this week. I went to see Mary Poppins the musical a few years back.  Both movies saving Mr. Banks and Mary Poppins are both good and my parents like them both too. 

Fun day with Forest and Gram

Today I went to my friends house and Forest and Gram were there. I played in the snow together with them. We also made tracks on the snow. After that big day of play we went inside and had a glass of lemonade / ice tea. I hope they can come back soon to sled on the big hills one day. When I got home I shoveled my parents driveway but still need a plow.
