Aruba

We are going to Aruba. We are meeting our friends there. I can't wait!! It has been three years since we went there. Our friends from here and Chicago are meeting us there. We are staying at the same house. We went ATV riding last time and wears doing it again. We rent Jeeps and ATV's. We go to the beach and do a lot of fun things. 

Christmas

We had a nice Christmas!  We were at my grandparents last night and my other grandparents today. My grandpa bought me Anki Overdrive.  I love it. We got Guitar Hero for the Wii U, headphones, gift cards and a lot of other things. It was great!!

Holiday nights

We went Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village. We go every year. I went into the old schoolhouse. It was the actual school that Henry Ford went to. I even sat in the same seat that he sat in. There is a seat where you get sent to if you get into trouble. They had to wear a hat that was called a dunce hat.  I have a picture of my brother and I sitting in the seats. My mom said that she had school for a day in that building when she was in elementary school for a field trip. That would be really cool!

IMAX

We went to see Star Wars in am IMAX. It was really cool. That should work great in an IMAX and in 3-D. We went with a big group and it was a lot of fun. I like the movie a lot better than I thought I would. I like that new droid a lot.  It was called BB 8. 

Break

Today was a good day at school. I am so happy that we started our break. I had my saxophone lesson right after school with Mr. Jackson.  Tomorrow we are going to go see Star Wars and the IMAX. Sunday we are going to go to holiday nights at Greenfield Village. It will be a fun weekend. 

Grandparents smartphone

We just bought both of our grand parents smart phones. It was really funny this week because my grandpa sent my dad a text. We did not ever think he would actually text.  He is old and more old-fashioned. The really funny part ways he asked my dad a question in the text and my dad answered. Then my grandpa replied with Ty. We were all cracking up laughing. We could not believe he texted but we were shocked that he knew to text Ty for short of thank you.  I am glad that he is using his phone and learning the text abbreviations.

Science car kit

I have a car kit from science works. It is called balloon racer. I dad and I are going to work on it tonight. I hope it works. It has wheels on it but the rest is made out of cardboard. You blow up a balloon and put it at the end and dad is going to set the car off to race.
