Another Bamboo People Connection

I am reading the book Bamboo People for book club. On my vacation there was many self to text from what I saw and what I was reading. I blogged about the bamboo that I saw. I blogged about the bicycle rickshaw that I saw.  We went to the Ripleys believe it or not museum in Orlando. The book Bamboo People takes place in Burma. Here is a picture from the museum of a Burmese lady wearing gold rings around her neck. The rings were to make her neck be longer. Burmese women think that this is more attractive. I don't!
